Inspired by watching high fidelity for the millionth time this afternoon what are your top five tracks to get you in the mood for a night out? Mine are as follows:

Urge Overkill - Girl, You'll Be A woman Soon

David Bowie - Modern Love

Elvis Costello - I Can't Stand Up for Falling Down

Hard Fi - Hard To Beat

Suede - Killing Of a Flash Boy

Hmmm...let's see...

It depends where I am going, in general I stick on a CD and listen to it all, but how's this?

Mr Brightside-Killers

Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn't 'ave)-Buzzcocks

I Predict A Riot-Kaiser Chiefs

Mother And I-The Wonderstuff

Can U Dig It-PWEI

Anything I can sing along to really...I have to have it loud so I can't hear myself belting them out (as I am the WORST singer in the World!). Good thing I have no neighbours!!!

Though I tend to end up having such fun, singing, dancing and getting ready that I am late for wherever I am supposed to be going, ooops!

Seems like that all those snoggers out are either boring or not interested in music.

Hi Mickey,

Oh dont get me started on Mao. I was seven when he die and still remember the public weeping and my mothers smile. That night we had a banquet, I didnt know at the time but the nightmare was ending.

Im afraid Mao was a grade A b*****d, a paedophile and a criminal. He naturally hated western pop music but funnily I have since learned that he had a soft spot for Mary Hopkin (remember her)? So did Howard Hughes.

Mao kill 70 million people by starvation, torture and murder, drive to suicide. Best history on Mao is Jung Chang's biography, Mao, The Hidden Story. Ignore Edgar Snow's book he was appologist for Mao.

Chinese Girls is fairly modern song, has good thumping beat and is slightly racist but still good. I like words... Make me feel good.

Jing ai,
