|  | It must be an underlying psychological explanation. When you where little your father was the prime figure of life and you looked up to him. And now you have that implicit schema imprinted in your head and therefore you are only looking for tall guys?
The same goes with money... looking at the profile for the guys (I need see the competition...) everyone is making over a 100 k even students... hm and at the same time girls expect originality?!?!?
Instead of just complaining here is my list of questions that I want to know about the other half before getting interested (please do comment and do not be afraid to add or remove items...)

| | | Eh mate, with all that gravy are you sure she is a girl and not a turkey? Just kidding it sounds like the girls has very humours side to her and take life lightly. My short experience with my list is that some girls answer it as it would be their A-levels while others (as in here) take it more lightly. If you want my opinion she sounds like very nice and down to earth girl. |

| | I wouldn't be worried at all. I am not sure I can answer many of them seriously. But I know what makes him feel loved, happy, sad, worried, nervous, and laugh out loud. I have a good idea of many of his dreams and aspirations, and beliefs.
Of course you can't ever know absolutely everything about a person - but who would want to? As vespa says, it's the journey, not the destination. But the point is to care enough to find out the things that are important to your partner. If it turns out many of them match yours, then you are fortunate indeed.
For the record, I've never given a toss about what someone earns, drives, or their status. I am more interested in their heart, mind and soul. Although on a shallow note it does help if they make me go phwoar when I look at them! I've never had the height issue thing, but then I am only 5' 3 and 3/4" so it's not so much of a problem. And I think it's unfair to say women base it on the father figure scenario, it's more a practical thing of wanting the kisses to fit! I don't think it's unreasonable for a 5' 10" girl to want someone she doesn't tower over. I am sure it is a lot more of an issue that many men want a "little girl" they can feel protective over. I know tall girls can have problems.
But love is love, and many tall people end up with short people, fat with thin, etc. You don't ultimately choose who you fall for, whatever your intitial criteria is. |

| | I'd rather have a diamond encrusted watch as opposed to the crusty, 3week old baguette that's in the kitchen.
I like tall girls, tall girls tend to have long legs and that means only one thing as far as I'm concerned...
That said, i usually end up with short girls but I don't mind, more important things to worry about; like: do they like cheesecake and if they do, will they share the last slice or will I have to make another one? |
